Jakarta,- PT Humpuss Intermoda Transportasi Tbk. (HITS) held an event for 50 Orphans from 2 Orphanages, Darrul Muslimin Bogor and Tarbiyatul Yatim Jakarta, merged with 50 outstanding children of HITS employee whose got scholarship for 2018 to play together, as part of 26^th HITS Anniversary event.

 

In its 11^th year, the Scholarship Program for Children of HITS Employee in this year was applied by 86 participants and filtered down to 76 participants who passed the grades from 1^st and 2^nd Semester, where the lowest grade has to be 85 for Jabotabek and 80 for Non-Jabotabek.

 

The outstanding children of HITS employee who live within Jakarta and nearby, were invited to the event where they could receive the scholarship straight away along with the souvenirs.

 

The event which was held on Sunday (Dec, 9^th) at Houbii Adventure Park, Jakarta Selatan was very pleasant, the children was so happy and jump around freely. This place was chosen with the aim to build up the courage and sportmanship of children. HITS also shared, like giving donation, school equipment and souvenirs.

 

President Director of HITS, Budi Haryono said that the “Scholarship Program for Children of HITS employee and Playing Together with Orphans” is a very good initiative and a media for doing good things and greetings the employee whose their children got scholarship.

 

This event was started from 08:30 WIB to the afternoon. Dozens of orphans looked enthusiastic followed various interesting areas.

 

The purpose of this event was to build feeling of “sharing” and “caring” to the children of HITS employee and to increase familiarity between them. And aslo giving a chance of sharing to the orphans.

 

“The event was started with playing for 3 hours, had lunch together between the children and their parents and also the orphans, and lastly we gave sholarship to the outstanding children of HITS employee and souvenirs for the orphans.” said Okty Saptarini, Corporate Secretary HITS. (osm)
