Petrochemical transportation managed by PT HTK. The fact that Indonesia's chemical industry is growing rapidly, which makes petrochemical a potential market, is unavoidable. This condition caused an increase in petrochemical vessels demand. It is an opportunity that needs to be taken by PT HTK in years to come by providing larger fleets specialized to transport chemical around the country.

Petrochemical transportation has gained captive market to transport ammonia and methanol.

Currently PT HTK has four offshore support vessels, comprising of three harbor tugs and a mooring boat to transport logistics for the operational demand of Floating Storage Regasification Unit/FSRU owned by PT Nusantara Regas (NR) in Kepulauan Seribu. Marine support managed by PT HTC to transport coal, but in line with the evolving Mining Regulations No. 4 year 2009, HITS changed the function of this business segment in addition to bulk transport also harbor tug.

This segment also serves the national seaport agency business, ship management services including vessel supply and refueling service. The shipping agency bureaus established by HITS are located in Jakarta (Tanjung Priok), Bontang, and Gresik.

This segment managed by PT MCSI for crew manning, the Company runs construction and management of competent, well-trained and highly motivated crew members through the development of recruitment standards based on the 1995 International Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) Convention and the Amandement by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

This business segment is also being developed for seafarers training services that managed by PT ETSI, especially for certified oil and gas tankers and management quality standards of TUV Rheinland.
