JAKARTA, June 28, 2023 – Energy distribution company PT Humpuss Intermoda Transportasi Tbk. (IDX: HITS) held its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) for Fiscal Year 2022 on Wednesday (28/6/2023) in Jakarta. In the AGMS, one of them was decided to use net profit in 2022

 

The Company recorded a positive company performance for 2022 with revenue reaching USD112,238,825 compared to 2021 of USD84,986,938. This figure increased by 32.07 percent on an annual basis or year on year.

Net profit growth of 187 percent was achieved by Humpuss Intermoda in 2022 compared to the previous year, with a net profit of USD 11,283,293.

"This achievement is quite a significant achievement," said Tonny Aulia Achmad, President Director of HITS. The satisfactory increase performance was achieved jointly by crews and employee in the office, the key factors including optimalization the utility levels which indicate that HITS' vessels are used efficiently and are in continuous operation, resulting in higher revenues. Adding the vessels also provides additional income, added Tonny.

In addition, in 2022 we have also succeeded in achieving zero accidents both on vessels and offices, driven by regulatory compliance with a focus on safety that helps reduce the risk of accidents, while improving operational efficiency.

The decision of the General Meeting of Shareholders to use the net profit for business development indicates the company's intention to expand and improve its business activities.

"Of course, it is not enough for investment with only retained profits, banking and strategic partnerships also to realize HITS capital expenditure plans until the end of 2023," said Tonny. Tonny believes that funding for the investment of new assets in HITS Group will drive HITS revenue and profit in 2023.
