PT Humpuss Intermoda Transportasi established on 21 December 1992, as part of upgraded process of Division LNG PT Humpuss

Originally, HITS was a division of PT Humpuss, namely the LNG Division in 1986, whose goal was to serve the transportation of LNG. The Company built the first LNG vessel "Ekaputra" in 1986 with a capacity of 78,988 DWT (dead weight ton).
