Jakarta,- PT Humpuss Intermoda Transportasi Tbk (PT HIT Tbk) arranged a discussion of shipping companies, in Jakarta (14/10). The event was attended by some of shipping companies for sharing experiences in the handling of the ship crew. Where it is a form of awareness of the existence of 18 thousand sailors of Indonesia, and this number will continue to grow along with the interest young men and women of Indonesia for that profession.

Around 15 shipping companies in Jakarta attended this discussion that focused on how to improve the quality of the sailors Indonesia so that it has better performance and be able to competence with foreign sailors. Bagoes Krisnamoerti, President Director PT HIT Tbk, said how important the role of sailors for Indonesia, that our country was recognized by the State Maritime. The training of hard skills that has been given in the formal education level, should be supported with soft skills training. Johan Novitrian, General Manager of Crew Management Services PT HIT Tbk, said the problems that emerged all over the shipping company was same, for that we need discuss together to overcome them.
