Jakarta,- PT Humpuss Intermoda Transportasi Tbk. (HITS) in its 26th Anniversary was held some social activities, one of them was an event for Blood Donation which working together with PMI Pusat Jakarta for doing this humanity action.

 

Blood Donation activity was held on Tuesday (Dec, 11th) at Granadi Building, 2nd Floor, which was started from 07.30-12.00 WIB for 150 donation bags.

 

Corporate Secretary HITS, Okty Saptarini explain that this social activity is held every year, continue the same activity which held by PT. Humpuss in the middle of the year. To accomodate the needs of donors in Granadi, so HITS held this Blood Donation activity by the end of every year.

 

“We are planning in 2019 to add one more schedule, so the donors in Granadi could do this blood donation once in every 4 month or three times in a year,” she said.

 

The first target was 150 bags will filled until 12.00 WIB, but on 9.00 in the morning, the registration was already closed for donors, because the quota from PMI has been filled and the target was reached.

 

“The hope of this blood donation could increase the feeling of humanity, to share with each other, in this case, blood. Because one drop of blood is really important for people who need it,” said Okty. One drop of blood that we donate is really important for others.

 

Apart from Blood Donation activity, there was also free blood checks for donors, and for every donors who got checked will be given the documents of the results, so they will always remember the things that they should avoided to keep themself healthy. (osm)
